Join us for our 6th huge Party Game Night - one of our most popular events.  Last time, 85 people attended!

We'll be playing Apples to Apples (custom gay edition), Scattergories, Taboo, Jenga, and whatever games you bring.  We'll have about 5 different games going at once, so there's always plenty to choose from, with (cheap!) trophies and (cheap!) prizes for the best players.  Or, you can join in 8-way Buzz Trivia on the Playstation 3, with special Buzz controllers for each player.  Or play pool.  Or, feel free to just hang out and socialize.

The event takes place on Saturday, February 20, 2010, from 7:30-11:30 pm, at a party room in Ballston, walking distance from the Ballston Metro station.  There's limited street parking, or you can park one block away in the Ballston Common mall garage ($1 for the first 3 hours).  Bring something to drink (alcohol or soft drinks) or a snack, and any games you want to play.

PLAY IN A DAY COMPETITION 2010 at IMAGINATION STAGE, BETHESDA, MD
This WILL Sell Out - Order Your Tickets Early!

We'll be heading to Imagination Stage in Bethesda for one of the most unique, entertaining, and just-plain-funny evenings in local theater - the annual Play in a Day Competition.  It's a fast-paced show where producers from 6 local theater groups (Woolly Mammoth, Ganymeade, Olney Theater, Round House, Imagination Stage and Adventure Theater) are given a theme and a special item (a shovel? a toilet seat? a birdcage?  you never know!).  They then have just 24 hours to write, cast, direct, produce sets for, and stage a 10-minute play, using the theme and the special item.  You'll see all 6 productions, and witness the judging.  There's $1000 in prizes up for grabs.

It's a great evening of entertainment - and, at just $15, a great deal.  We'll be doing dinner first at a restaurant near the theater (details TBA).  TICKETS FOR THE SHOW WILL SELL OUT, SO YOU SHOULD ORDER EARLY.

Here's how to join us, in 3 easy steps.

2.  Please let me know immediately (pinmagic@msn.com) that you ordered tickets, so I can add you to our group listing.  The theater will then seat us all together.
3.  Sit back and wait for info from me about the optional dinner before the show.

Upcoming Skating Events

We generally skate 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, at the Kettler Capitals Iceplex, on top of the Ballston Common Mall parking garage, 627 N. Glebe Road, Arlington.  After skating, we hit a local bar for a social hour.  Skating is $8 + $3 for skate rental.  Skating is from 7:45 to 8:45 pm, with a social from 9:00 pm - ???  Plenty of cheap parking in the mall - and just 2 blocks from the Ballston Metro.
